The UAB Center for Exercise Medicine, the Nutrition Obesity Research Center and the Center for Engagement in Disability Health and Rehabilitation Sciences are pleased to jointly host the
UCEM-NORC-CEDHARS 2022 Fall Research Symposium.
The symposium talks will feature UCEM-NORC-CEDHARS interdisciplinary themes that highlight works of both UAB and external researchers. The event also features a poster session and trainee blitz. More information will be posted soon. Please save the dates and

Abstract Submission:
All attendees are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentation on basic, clinical, translational, and population science that are broadly related to one or more of the following: exercise medicine, nutrition and obesity, disability and rehabilitation
sciences.
Abstract submissions open on June 1, 2022.
Deadline to submit abstracts is July 15, 2022.
Oral Presentation:
In addition, a few abstracts, submitted by trainees, will be selected prior to the symposium for 4-minute flash talks during the symposium. Abstracts will be reviewed and selections will be made by the Education Committee.
Awards:
Principal authors of the winning posters and oral presenters (as determined by faculty judges) will each receive a travel award.
Students and trainees from any institution are eligible for travel awards.
