There is still time to submit abstracts for the "Precision-the genes and beyond" Research Symposium.
Deadline to submit abstracts is August 19, 2022.
Submission of an abstract previously presented at a regional or national meeting is welcome. 


Abstract Submission:
All attendees are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentation on basic, clinical, translational, and population science that are broadly related to one or more of the following: exercise medicine, nutrition and obesity, disability and rehabilitation
sciences.

Oral Presentation:
In addition, a few abstracts, submitted by trainees, will be selected prior to the symposium for 4-minute flash talks during the symposium. Abstracts will be reviewed and selections will be made by the Education Committee.

 

Awards:
Principal authors of the winning posters and oral presenters (as determined by faculty judges) will each receive a travel award.
Students and trainees from any institution are eligible for travel awards.

The event includes opportunities for attendees to: 

  • Network with professionals in areas of exercise medicine, nutrition and obesity, disability and rehabilitation sciences.
  • Listen to talks on adherence and behavior, multi-phase optimization strategy, sleep and circadian rhythms, and therapy identification. 
  • Participate in abstract competition; Win travel awards.

Daniel Beavers, PhD, Wake Forest
